I LOVE Spider-Man. I grew up reading my Dad's Spider-Man comics and watching the different movies with my family. Nowadays, my favourite Spider-Man media pieces are Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994), The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008 animated show), the ITSV and ATSV movies, the Spider-Gwen comics by Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez (highly reccomend this original run for Gwen when she's still in Earth-65! It's so good!) and the Miles Morales PS5 Game. I have Spider-Man plushies, Spider-Man figures, Spider-Man Pez dispensers, Spider-Man Lego...
Personally, my favourite Peter Parker Spider-Man is when he's an actual adult - like most of his comics - which is why the 1994 show is my favourite. I love his relationship with MJ in it, they are absolutely so adorable and the wedding episode is great! I love Harry in that show too, as well as of course Daredevil's occasional appearances (he's my favourite character, full stop). The ending of the show is obviously not great, being a weird cliffhanger as planned future seasons never came to fruition.
The same can be said about The Spectacular Spider-Man, unfortunately, which is so sad because that show is very beloved and also incredible! It does such a good job tying together different parts of Spider-Man lore into a cohesive storyline. I also love all the side characters in that show. My favourite arc is definitely the symbiote arc, an absolute classic and so well done there! I think the character design is really awesome too, and I'd love to get my hands on some of the toys someday.
I can't really point out a specific reason WHY I like Spider-Man so much. I guess it's mostly just growing up with him, and seeing him absolutely everywhere! I love that I can't turn a corner without seeing something Spidey related, because it always brightens up my day. I love his wacky villains and sometimes funny, sometimes emotional story arcs. Although I'm no longer a huge fan of MCU Spider-Man, I do have a strong memory of watching Infinity War in cinemas and the loss I felt when Peter turned to dust. Plus, his original story of being a bit of an outcast in school definitely strikes a chord, and beyond that I just really love the amazing artwork that always surrounds him!
